The demand of the cotton market in Bangladesh is weak

In recent days, there has been no significant improvement in the textile market in Bangladesh. The procurement focus of textile companies is mainly concentrated on the shipment of cotton. As cotton yarn prices are significantly lower than cotton prices, some factories continue to postpone cotton purchases, waiting for a large number of new flowers to be listed later. It is reported that the current operating rate of the factories in the country is generally only 50%, and most of them are in a loss-making state, and the inventory of textile companies is relatively large.

In addition, the Indian government recently granted tax exemptions for certain apparel items from Bangladesh, which gave local clothing exporters a little optimism.
