The Indonesian ambassador to Cairo’s embassy, ​​Kali, said that Indonesia’s exports to Egypt during the period from January to March increased by 63.8% compared to the same period last year.

According to data from the Indonesian Embassy in Cairo, Indonesia’s exports to Egypt from January to March this year reached US$261,800,000, an increase of 63.8% compared with US$159.8 million in the same period last year.

On the contrary, Indonesia’s imports from Egypt fell by 26.3% to US$44.9 million from US$61 million in the same period last year and imported products from Egypt, including phosphoric acid, aluminum, cotton, fruits, carpets and textiles.

According to the Egyptian Central Bureau of Statistics, there are 50 Indonesian superior products sold in Egypt. Apart from raw palm oil, there are also rubber, automobile tires, paper products, motor vehicle parts, computer parts, electronic products and food and beverages.
