In the process of urbanization, the spatial solidification of the urban space model, living space and work space become real estate products, lifestyle is also standardized by consumer advertising and mainstream politics, and the use of space is also strictly controlled and standardized.

The functions of space, the structural relationships between spaces, and the establishment of spatial systems are all designed to adapt to typical power mechanisms.

The program of daily life is assigned by power structure, discipline, and direct construction. In the urban mainstream living space, the relationship between man and space is stipulated, the solidification of lifestyle leads to the solidification of the body, and the unobserved hidden control becomes an inescapable power structure.

Under such spatial politics, how does the artist examine his own private space? Their resistance and betrayal, cooperation and disassociation are especially important

The studio is not just an inorganic production material for artists, but a mixture of politics, life, and experimentation. It has become a field to explore time and ideas, and is an expressive space for continuous development and defection.

Bruce Naumann said "If I were an artist and I work in a studio, then anything I do in the studio is art. At this point, art is more of an activity than a product."

The studio is both a library for data storage and a playground for production inspiration

There are some methods and concepts of artist work, and this kind of correspondence with space occurs. The studio also becomes the most effective and direct physical context of the work.

At the same time, the studio is an artist's production space and living space, and the production process of works of art has daily life and personalities that are difficult for people to see.
